Let's Be Honest — Nobody Reads These Pages

And that's fine, honestly. But if you're about to hire us to build your website or run your ads, it's worth spending five minutes here. Because this isn't a wall of legal text designed to confuse you into agreeing to something you didn't mean to. This is just us telling you how we work. What's included. What isn't. What happens if something goes sideways. The stuff that should probably come up in a normal conversation before any money changes hands — but rarely does. So here it is in writing.

Scope of Work
What We Actually Do

Three things. Website development, SEO, and digital marketing — primarily Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram. Everything we do is scoped out in writing before we start. That written scope is what we work to. If it's not in there, it's not included.

This comes up more than you'd think. A client will ask us to add a booking system two weeks into a project, genuinely believing it was always part of the plan. Sometimes it was a miscommunication. Sometimes scope creep just happens. Either way — if it wasn't in the original agreement, it goes through a change request before we touch it. Takes ten minutes and saves a lot of confusion later.

Written scope, timeline, and fixed price before anything starts
You approve it before we do anything
Changes go through a formal change request
Who This Is For

Who This Is For

Anyone using the webtechtic.com website, anyone who reaches out about a project, and anyone who actually hires us. If that's you — a USA business owner looking for a website, better Google rankings, or someone to run your ads properly — these terms apply to the work we do together.

Money — What You Pay, When You Pay It
Everything is quoted in US dollars. Fixed prices for projects, fixed monthly rates for ongoing work. No hourly billing. No mysterious add-ons after the fact. For most projects, there's a deposit upfront before we start and a final payment before we hand anything over or go live. Monthly services are billed at the start of each cycle.
Late Payments & Refunds
Late payment — we'll reach out first, we're not going to silently stop work. But we do reserve the right to pause a project until things are settled. Refunds depend on where things are. Haven't started? Deposit back. Three weeks in? We'll work something out based on what's been done. We've never left someone out of pocket for work we didn't actually do.
Client Responsibilities

What We Need From You

This part matters more than most clients expect going in.

Timely Feedback
Within about five to seven business days when we ask. Not in six weeks. Projects stall. Timelines slip. Most of the time it's not because we didn't do the work, it's because we're waiting on a response. If you're going through a busy period, just tell us — we'd rather know than be left guessing.
Access to Accounts
Domain, hosting, Google accounts, ad platforms — whatever the project requires. We'll tell you exactly what we need upfront. Not knowing your login details shouldn't hold up a project for two weeks.
Accurate Information & Legal Content
If you tell us you serve the whole of Texas and you actually only cover three cities, the SEO strategy we build won't match your actual business. Wrong input leads to wrong output. Also — anything you give us to put on your website needs to be stuff you actually have the right to use. We won't knowingly publish anything that could get you into legal trouble.
Ownership
Who Owns What

Short version — you own the work once it's paid for. The website, the ad creative, the content we wrote for your pages. All yours. We might use completed projects in our portfolio. Most clients are fine with that. If yours is a sensitive industry or you'd rather keep it private, say so early and we'll leave it out. No issue. The tools and processes we use internally to do the work — those stay ours. The output is yours. The method is ours. That's pretty standard for any agency.

Full code ownership — you take it anywhere
Design files handed over at launch
Every login credential transferred to you
No platform lock-in, no monthly fee to keep it running
100%
Your Ownership
What We Promise

What We Can and Can't Promise

We're honest about what we can and can't promise. Here's exactly where we stand on each service.

01

Websites

On-time delivery as agreed and 100% sign-off on the design before any code is written. If we miss a deadline we committed to, you don't pay for that phase. Simple.

02

SEO

We're not going to promise you'll rank number one for anything. Nobody can honestly make that promise and back it up. What we can promise is real work every month, full transparency on what we're doing and why, and measurable movement on the targets we agreed at the start.

03

Paid Ads

Markets shift, algorithms update, competition changes. We don't guarantee a specific return. We guarantee that your campaigns are managed weekly against real profit targets, your accounts are yours, and you'll always know exactly where your money went.

Legal

Confidentiality, Liability, Termination & Governing Law

The stuff that needs to be in here — written as clearly as we can manage.

01
Keeping Things Confidential

Anything you share with us about your business stays with us. Revenue numbers, customer details, internal processes — that stuff doesn't leave the room. The people working on your account will have access to what they need. Nobody else. Same goes the other way — our pricing and processes are confidential too.

02
Liability

Our total liability in any dispute is capped at what you paid us in the 90 days leading up to it. This isn't a loophole to avoid accountability for genuinely bad work. It's the same commercial protection every legitimate agency operates under.

03
Ending the Relationship

Ongoing services can be cancelled with 30 days written notice once any minimum commitment period is up. For project work, stopping partway through means paying for what's been done — and we hand over everything completed to that point. That's happened maybe twice in our entire history. But it's in here because it needs to be.

04
Governing Law & Updates

US law. United States. Any dispute that can't be resolved through a direct conversation gets handled accordingly. The date at the top changes when the content meaningfully changes. If you're an active client and something changes that affects your agreement, we'll tell you directly.

Still Have Questions?

Good. Ask Them Before We Start — Not After.

If something here isn't clear, or if you want to talk through any of it before working together — just reach out. We'd rather have a five-minute conversation upfront than a misunderstanding later.
