Webtechtic is a digital agency based in the United States. We build websites, run SEO campaigns, and manage paid advertising for USA businesses. Our website is webtechtic.com. When you contact us, request a quote, or use our site in any way, this policy applies to you.
When you fill out a contact form, book a consultation, or send us an email, we collect what you give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, and whatever details you include about your business or project.
Information Collected Automatically
Like every website, ours collects some basic technical data when you visit — your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, and where you came from (Google search, a link, direct URL). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand this. It helps us know which pages are useful and which ones aren't. None of this data is linked to your name or contact details unless you've filled out a form.
Cookies. Yes, we use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that gets stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are essential — they make the site work. Some are analytics cookies that help us understand traffic. Some are advertising cookies if you've been retargeted after visiting our site. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings. The site will still work if you do. Some analytics features won't function, but that's our problem, not yours. If you hire us, we use your project details to do the work.

To do any of those things, email hello@webtechtic.com. We'll respond within 5 business days. We're based in the United States and operate under US law. If you're in the EU or UK, you may have additional rights under GDPR. We respect those rights regardless.
Non-clients: data kept up to 12 months. Clients: kept as long as legally required — typically up to 7 years. After that, it gets deleted.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure — encrypted connections, access controls, and not storing sensitive data we don't need. No website is completely immune to security risks. If something were to happen, we'd tell you promptly and clearly — not bury it in a footnote six months later.
Children's Privacy
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we'll delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll try to let active clients know directly. We're not going to quietly rewrite this and pretend nothing changed.
